What does it mean to be a beta male? In most situations, someone is getting described as a “beta” as a type of insult. This is someone who is passive, subservient, weak, and typically more “feminine” than their alpha male counterparts.

Is this true? What does it mean to be a beta male?

In reality, a beta male is simply someone who follows rather than leads. A common misconception is that “all men must be alpha males.” This isn’t true. If we look at chimpanzees in the wild, typically, there is only one alpha male. And the rest would be considered “beta.”

A beta male has a key part in society. Typically, being able to carry out many alpha male or female alpha orders.
